Professional Overview

Courtney is a litigation associate in the Chicago office. She focuses her practice on premises and products liability, but also has considerable experience with construction negligence and construction defect cases. Courtney has significant experience preparing pleadings, answering and propounding discovery, and drafting dispositive motions. Courtney spent several months as a volunteer attorney with CARPLS Legal Aid, advising low income individuals on legal matters, including consumer debt, divorce, and landlord/tenant disputes. Courtney is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois

Education

Courtney graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in May 2010. While in Law School, Courtney participated in the school’s study abroad program in Beijing, China, and spent a considerable amount of time as a research assistant for a notable member of the faculty who specializes in tax law.

Courtney graduated from Fordham University and while completeing her coursework, she spent several months as a Policy and Intergovernmental Affairs intern in the Office of the Bronx Borough President. As an avid baseball fan, she is quite proud of the two summers spent as an Executive Intern with the New York Yankees.
