Professional Overview
Edward (Ted) Eberspacher is an associate trial lawyer in O’Hagan Spencer’s Chicago office. His practice is dedicated to defending professionals against malpractice claims (lawyers, accountants, insurance producers, securities brokers, real estate agents, architects and engineers); manufacturers in products liability suits (cars, trucks, tires, asbestos, electrical tools and chemical products, including caustic cleaner (sodium hydroxide), detergent (benzene), oven and upholstery cleaner (vinyl chloride) and lindane lotion); and corporations and individuals in commercial disputes.
Ted was admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court in 2005. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois.
Education
Ted received his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of Illinois in 2002 and his Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2005. Prior to graduating, the College of Law awarded Ted the prestigious Rickert Award for Excellence in Oral Advocacy and CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Evidence. He was also a regional champion and national finalist in the National HNBA Moot Court Competition and placed third overall with thirty-four teams competing. While at Illinois, Mr. Eberspacher was also recognized as a Harno Scholar.
