The packages didn’t get there on time. Our client was sorry. Really sorry. You can’t imagine how sorry. But that was small comfort to the shipper whose multi-million dollar shipment was on board. Still, a contract’s a contract and the Warsaw Convention is not to be ignored. And when $25,000,000 is at stake, one has to think of one’s shareholders. So when this plane went belly up, the client called one of our lawyers to make sure the same thing didn’t happen to the client. We’re happy to say that our lawyer’s argument flew a lot better than this particular plane.
