Soo Kim has more trial experience than a roomful of “litigators.” In her first jury, she faced down six plaintiffs, including two men of the cloth who wore their cassocks to court, on behalf of a gentleman whose testimony in defense of himself was deemed so irrelevant by the presiding judge that he wasn’t even allowed to take the stand. Nevertheless, by the time Soo was done, it took six minutes—one for each plaintiff—for the jury to return six defense verdicts.
