Aviation
Intellectually, we understand the principles of lift, thrust, weight and drag. We’ve been through the formulas. Still, when we’re sitting on a plane carrying 500 others and weighing 870,000 pounds at takeoff, we can’t help but be amazed that the thing actually works.
But no system devised by mankind is perfect. Even nature delivers disasters. And we’ve built a robust practice around the aviation industry. We’ve worked with the NTSB. We’ve litigated the GARA. Our copies of the Warsaw and Montreal Conventions are well worn. We’ve handled crashes, contracts, cargo claims, inquiries, spills and severance—just about anything that can happen in, on, around and to an airline. |
