Professional Overview

Since 2007 Jeff has worked as a paralegal for O’Hagan Spencer, LLC’s litigation attorneys on a variety of product liability, professional liability, personal injury, and labor/employment matters. He also works for several coverage attorneys on various Employment Liability, Legal Malpractice and Real Estate matters. On the litigation side, Jeff’s responsibilities include trial preparation, abstracting medical records, employment records, and deposition testimony, propounding and answering written discovery (including various forms of eDiscovery) drafting correspondence and file management. His coverage work entails monitoring defense expenses from all defense counsels working on every matter, compiling monthly summaries detailing all financial detail and total number of claims to be provided to the insurance carrier, preparing loss/run details to the carrier as well as preparing various electronic documents. Jeff is also the primary paralegal working on cases involving FINRA mediation. With those matters, charges include determining the potential arbitrators’ past ruling and ranking them based upon the research.

Education

Jeff attended the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2002 through 2007, majoring in History with a minor in English.
